FreePDFCompress (the "Service", "we", "us", "our") is a free online PDF compression tool operated by Mohit Girdhar, an individual founder based in Hisar, India. The Service is accessible at https://freepdfcompress.com/ and was launched on 25 June 2025.

2. What information we collect

2.1 Information you provide directly

We do not require account creation, email signup, or any form submission to use the compression tool. You can use FreePDFCompress without giving us any personal information.

If you voluntarily contact us by email, we receive whatever information you choose to share (name, email address, message contents).

2.2 Information collected automatically

When you visit FreePDFCompress, the following non-personal technical data may be automatically collected by us or our third-party services:

• Browser type and version (e.g., Chrome 130, Safari 17)

3. Cookies and tracking technologies

FreePDFCompress uses cookies — small text files stored in your browser — for the following purposes:

4. Google AdSense and third-party advertising

FreePDFCompress uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. AdSense uses cookies and similar technologies to:

5. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use FreePDFCompress. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit the site, what pages they visit, and what other sites they used prior. We use this information only to improve our Service. Google Analytics anonymises your IP address before storage.

7. Data retention

Because we don't store your PDFs at all, there is nothing to retain there. For analytics data, Google Analytics retention is set to 14 months by default. Email correspondence is retained for as long as needed to address your inquiry, then deleted within 12 months.

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

9. Children's privacy (under 13 / under 16)

FreePDFCompress is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under these ages. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us at mohit2607may@gmail.com and we will delete it.

10. International data transfers

FreePDFCompress is operated from India. If you access the Service from outside India, your data may be transferred to and processed in India or other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

11. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the limited data we collect, including HTTPS encryption for all site traffic. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. The most secure aspect of our Service remains the fact that your PDFs never leave your device.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the Service, or applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when revisions were last made. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
